Dr. A. Raja Reddy is an esteemed academician and researcher, boasting over three decades of committed service in the realm of Agricultural Sciences, focusing on Entomology. His academic journey started with a B.Sc. In Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Osmania University in 1979, accompanied by way of a B.Sc. In Agricultural Sciences from APAU in 1983. Dr. Reddy furthered his schooling with an M.Sc. In Agricultural Sciences (Entomology) from APAU in 1985 and culminated his educational pastimes with a Ph.D. In Zoology (Entomology) from Osmania University in 2001. Since 1985, Dr. Reddy has been an essential part of Loyola Academy Degree & PG College, wherein he imparts understanding in Agricultural subjects to B.Sc. (Hons') Agricultural Science & Rural Development students.
His contributions enlarge past teaching, as evidenced via his position as NSS Program Officer for over a decade, throughout which he spearheaded initiatives leading to the improvement of a colorful inexperienced belt within the campus. Dr. Reddy's academic leadership is in addition confirmed through his tenure as Chairman of the Board of Studies, in which he actively participated in editing syllabi to satisfy evolving educational desires. He is a reputable member of the Plant Protection Association of India, having served as an Executive Council Member from 2007 to 2012 and presently holding the position of Assistant General Secretary. Dr. Reddy's contributions to academia and society have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Lions Clubs International President Appreciation Award (2009), Fellowship of Plant Protection Association of India, and the State Best Teacher Award (2013) from the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Presently, Dr. Raja Reddy serves as the Dean of Agriculture at Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, in which he continues to inspire and mentor the next technology of agricultural experts along with his wealth of knowledge and experience.
